Uncomfortable Vanity

Mittens/Minou loves to look in the mirror. She is vain.
When she finds a mirror, she is there for awhile, just gazing at herself (she was also quite enamored with my big scissors the other day and kept a super strong grip on them for too long a time, in my opinion):

If she isn't looking at herself, she is sleeping in the most uncomfortable positions..on top of wooden things like tables and the slats of my bed. I don't understand it at all:
