.
It's been so busy the past two weeks.
Some photos of the more interesting and/or fun highlights..
June 7th was a full moon.
Kristen came over and we set up our tripods in the street.

.
June 8th, at
Wings of Hope Leslie released two woodpeckers. Really wish I would have had my G9 to film their take off...next time I will remember to bring it with me.

Little Screech Owl is getting so big.

I am fascinated with the
bats.

I participated in the
Breeding Bird Survey as Melanie's assistant on Monday the 15th. We headed out at 4:15 a.m. to parts of Louisiana I have never seen. It was so early and I was a zombie the entire time, but that was one of the prettiest sunrises I have ever seen..the fog was really beautiful too.

.
Monday night Brooks had a Chimney Swift's nest dislodge and fall, babies and all, down the chimney in his house (and to the floor). I headed out Tuesday morning to pick them up and bring them to Leslie. Watched another very pretty and foggy sunrise on the way. On this particular stretch of the highway there were a million spider webs in the tall grasses that looked, at first glance, to float..really neat.

.
I want to fuss at the Vet who wouldn't spay Farrah a few months back.
Three kittens have arrived. Going to contact Cat Haven this week and see when the next big Spay Day is so I can get them all, Farrah included, spayed and neutered. They sure are cute though...and I hope to find them good homes.
Male Kitty 1 (I call him Mutt)

Male Kitty 2 (I call him William)

Female Kitty 1 (Lo named her Penelope)

Lots of catching up to get started with now.
