Logan went out in the Atchafalaya Basin with Brooks and me on Sunday, much to my surprise. She made sure to never be completely disconnected from her friends, but at the end of the day I think she had fun. She even ended up steering the trolling motor for a while. Really beautiful day, just the right amount of heat and sunshine..

I saw lots of Mississippi Kites and one Swallow-tailed Kite, which made the day for me...
