Went birding at Richfield Riversilt off the levee this morning with Van Remsen, Jane Patterson, Sue Broussard, Josh Sylvest, and Jacob Cooper. It was overcast and dark and rather quiet bird-wise.
A nice start to the day though..I really enjoy the walking, especially with the handful of breezes that came through, and the good company.
I was warned Richfield Riversilt wasn't very scenic, but it ended up being an interesting area with lots of pretty places here and there. There wasn't a ton of good light for photos (especially for bird photos), but I got a few shots after all.
