A couple of favorites from the yard:
Centaurea cyanus or Blue Cornflower, from the Garage bed.
It has the prettiest gray-green downy-like leaves as well.

.
Mimosa microphylla or Littleleaf Sensitive Briar, from a patch in the yard.
This is a native plant (ground cover) that looks like a tiny version of the big Mimosa. When you touch the leaves they close up (or when the sky darkens or rains).

.
Also, a couple of garden entries at the garden journal:
-Screen Porch Bed Transplants
-Sowing Native Seeds
