Mid Century Ranches 1954

My little sister is in the process of purchasing an adorable 1954 ranch style house.
In its 53 years it has had only 1 owner, and as a result is in great condition having only minor changes throughout the years.

Most changes have been superficial, but she really wants to restore elements of the home's 1954 design/color scheme etc.

I found The Ladies Home Journal Book of Interior Decoration Copyright 1954 for her to reference! It's an amazing little tome of information for that year in regards to design, color, decoration etc. Some of my favorite rooms..pieces of furniture..colors etc throughout the book:
